YFS Receives Gift to Support Health Advocacy Program for Boys

YFS recently received a generous gift of $5,000 from Gary and Kendra Larson. This gift was made in memory of their son, Stephen Larson, and will be used by the Boys Health Program to ensure that children enrolled in this program receive the individualized attention they need.

YFS’ Boys Health Program, an arm of the YFS Counseling Center, was established in 1999. The Boys Health Program provides access to healthcare services for at-risk children who have urgent or unmet health needs. This program ensures that boys, ages 5 -17, have the resources they need to receive regular care.

The funds donated by Gary and Kendra will be used to support services related to academics, health, dental, mental health, and prevention topics.
