Kids Fair 2010 is coming on April 16, 17, and 18!
What is Kids Fair?
Youth & Family Services Kids Fair celebrates children and their families. This signature YFS event draws nearly 11,000 people every spring to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City. If you're a kid or a kid at heart, you don't want to miss the next time Kids Fair rolls through town.
What's it going to cost me?
Rushmore Plaza Civic Center hosts the event from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 16; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 17; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18. Children under one year of age get in free. All other visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday pay $3.
Fifteen years of fun!
The organizers, donors and volunteers responsible for bringing Kids Fair back for a 15th year promise a few new attractions mixed with some old favorites when the three-day event kicks off April 16.
In addition to the hands-on activities, inflatables and entertainment that have entertained children of all ages for years, Kids Fair 2010 will highlight the different businesses and community helpers that make a city work.
Why should I get involved?
You and your business can be part of ensuring YFS continues to meet the needs of children and their families in western South Dakota. Consider sponsoring a booth. The return is priceless. All funds raised by Kids Fair benefit YFS programs, and you get three days to showcase your business product or service to a vast audience of parents, grandparents and children. Individuals or businesses might also consider sponsoring a booth for a nonprofit exhibitor.

What if I can't sponsor a booth? How else can I help?
Volunteer at Kids Fair! The success of Kids Fair depends not only on the financial generosity of our sponsors, but also on the willingness of community members to give of their time. Our volunteers collectively gave 2,000 hours of their time last year. We need them and you again this year. Volunteers assist with attractions, activities and booths and ensure a warm and inviting experience for every visitor.
