Diamonds & Denim Dinner-To-Go and Online Auction Fundraiser
Youth & Family Services (YFS) invites you to participate in our Diamonds and Denim Dinner-To-Go and Online Auction event! This two-night event will take place on October 1-2, 2021. YFS' Diamonds and Denim Dinner-To-Go will be raising funds to support YFS' nine comprehensive programs that serve more than 14,000 children and families throughout 29 counties in western South Dakota each year.
Our two-part, two-night event will feature a delicious meal prepared to-go by the chefs from Outback Steakhouse as well as access to our extensive online auction. Meals will available for curbside pickup at YFS' 120 East Adams Street facility. Meals are $35 each. More informaiton on how to purchase your meals is available below.
Dinner-To-Go
For just $35 you’ll enjoy a meal prepared by the chefs from Outback Steakhouse! Guests will have the option to select either a 6 oz. steak and chicken entree, a salmon entree, or a vegetarian entree (Queensland Pasta—fettuccine noodles tossed in a bold Alfredo sauce). Each entree will include:
• Garden salad with ranch
• Dinner roll
• Cooked vegetables
• Mashed potatoes
• Carrot Cake
Our carrot cake dessert will be prepared by Chef Jeff Slathar of the Black Hills Chapter of the American Culinary Federation. This carrot cake does not contain nuts.
Meals must be ordered before September 23. They will be available for curbside pick-up the evenings of October 1 and 2. Once you place your meal order, we will contact you to schedule a time slot for you to pick up your dinner. Time slots will be available in 15 minute increments between 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. both evenings. Only 10 vehicles are permitted per time slot to ensure your dinner is hot, fresh, and delicious!
Online Auction
In partnership with McPherson Auction & Realty, YFS will host our Diamonds and Denim Auction online! As always, our auction will include a wide variety of items such as:
• Artwork from a variety of artists
• Experience packages
• Gift certificates
• Jewelry
• Unique children's toys
• And more!
The online auction will go live on Friday, October 1. Bidding will begin closing at 6 p.m. MST on Tuesday, October 5. Winners will be able to collect their items at YFS’ 120 East Adams Street location. Items must be picked up by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 7 unless other arrangements are made. Closer to the event, you'll be available to view on our online auction at https://mcphersonauction.com/
Bidders will have the opportunity to view auction items on Wednesday, September 29 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. at YFS’ 120 East Adams Street location in Rapid City, SD.
